Are you “Vacsercising” when you vacuum the carpet? Seriously…Are you having back pain when you vacuum?
Carpet that has been improperly installed can loosen and cause several issues for you and your family.
- Have you lost the JOY of vacuuming (i.e. making those cool streaks in the carpet, that make the room just feel clean)?
- Do you miss having that spring in your step as you walk across your floor?
Do you need your carpet repaired?
Find out by asking yourself the following questions:
- Is the backing on my carpet coming up?
- Do I trip over my carpet?
- Do I see visible buckles in the carpet?
- Do I see very little change in appearance after you vacuum?
- Do I walk on dark traffic lanes?
When you vacuum and you don’t have tight carpet, it drags the yarns and combs the fibers. The friction created by the “combing” releases the twists in the carpet causing it to lay down and hold dirt in.
When the carpet is tight (i.e. properly stretched), the beater bar on the vacuum is able to create sufficient vibration which causes the to dirt lift, making it easier for the vacuum to extract.
